This distribution center site, now spanning 1 million sq. feet and containing 20 miles of conveyor belts, was built after a group of local business people went to Bentonville, Arkansas and personally sold Sam Walton on the Plainview community as a pro-industry place to do business. The community raised the funds to donate the land for the center.
